Situated on the rugged Yorkshire coast in England, Bempton Cliffs is one of the wonders that reflect the incredible diversity of British wildlife as differing species and behaviours revolve with the seasons. With the onset of March up until September, the reserve is awash with activity and home to around half-a-million seabirds as they raise their young before migrating to far-off shores. April in particular signals a time of great industry for the Gannet colony at Bempton which was when this image was captured, as they establish territory and frantically build their nests.
