Sudbury water meadow supports a rich and diverse cast of wildlife which tread this busy stage, not least of which are the Little Egrets found along the margins. To the uninitiated they often remain unseen, but with a little patience and careful observation, I am always amazed by their behaviour, as they hunt attentively with gentle precision.
