THE BEAT OF THE WAVES

Waves are the most inspirational and powerful aspect of any shoreline. Time is well spent just watching and listening to the roll, drift and break of the waters as they wash along the length of the shore. 

Most of my photographs are taken along the Suffolk and Essex coast. I’ve always been an early riser, but there is something unique about each day when walking along the shoreline at sunrise. The quality of light is never quite the same on any given day; and it’s easy to become lost in the iridescent reflections and sounds formed on the backs of waves as they mass and fall.
